Alex and Kelsey are pet parents with four little charges. They have one dog, Calvin, two male cats, Maiximus and Newt, and a female cat, Flora. Every week, the family does a Pet of the Week award. They do a Pet of the Year award at the end of the year. The award ceremonies are hilarious. But perhaps even more comical is how Flora has her cat dad wrapped around her paws and singing to her!

The couple noticed the cat’s affinity for music with Chappell Roan. When her cat Dad started singing Pink Pony Club, Flora would always come running. With that in mind, they decided to make a Spotify playlist just for Flora. Figuring out what else to add to the cat’s playlist means that Dad does a lot of singing.
Right now, they are working their way through Disney soundtrack songs. That makes Dad a bit of a princess, but he has a great voice. He sings surprisingly well, so it is no wonder Flora likes it. The soundtrack from “Wicked“ is a hit. The Hamilton soundtrack got a slow start, but Flora asked to have it added. Her tastes are eclectic, although she does seem to prefer the Disney tunes. There was still room on her list for “Little Shop of Horrors.” Maybe they’ll make Flora’s playlist public.
Working through the entire Disney soundtrack collection will probably take Alex a while. If you want to hear more of his extraordinary voice, please follow them on TikTok. While the singing is great, their other family activities are wholesome and hilarious. It’s a combination that any animal lover will enjoy.
