Some pets are more affectionate than others — and they aren’t afraid to show it, either. Based on Samia Janelle’s viral video, it seems that her cat tends to be on the cuddly side. This can be fantastic, of course. But it can also be inconvenient, like the times when Samia is trying to get work done on her laptop.

At first, all Samia wanted to do was focus on her work. Her cat, on the other hand, wanted nothing more than to cuddle. But despite his efforts, Samia made it clear that now wasn’t the time. So, naturally, her cat gave up… just kidding! He simply changed his methods, of course. And you know it worked! See his adorably clever tactic in the video below.

Sure, Samia had already turned down her cat’s cuddles. But surely she wouldn’t notice if he ever so quietly tip-toed his way over to her, right? And once he got near, it only made sense that she wouldn’t notice, or at least mind, that he was right there next to her…
No Amount of Work Can Keep This Woman From Giving Her Cat the Cuddle He So Rightly Deserves
While this sneaky cat’s logic isn’t necessarily very sound, in the end, he did get what he wanted… cuddles with Mom! And you know what? I think it’s safe to say that even Samia is happy that he got his way.
“He’s literally just a baby,” someone points out in reply to Samia’s video, with another person adding what many are saying, “Apologize to him right now.”

Don’t worry — Samia promises that she has both apologized and gave her cat many, many cuddles to make up for her crime.
“I’M SORRY. I scooped him up and put him on my lap and we snuggled ALL night… promise!” Samia wrote, later adding, “He told me to tell everyone he forgives mommy because he likes to sneak and got what he wanted anyway… as usual.”
