“When You And Your Cat Try To Scare Each Other At The Same Time”

Creamsicle cat and his owner have fun trying to scare one another.

Some cats are more skittish than others. For Chris and his cat Bubba, scaring each other has become their special game. They move about their shared apartment, frequently trying to scare one another. It doesn’t work very well, as Bubba seems to be a nonplussed cat that doesn’t scare easily.

Part of Bubba’s attitude might be his background. Before Chris adopted him, he was a neighborhood cat entertaining several people around the apartment complex. Chris noticed the cat was getting thin, so he fed him. “Zero” came daily to play on Chris’ deck. After posting a note in the laundry room, Chris discovers his real name is Bloom. Chris lets Bloom in his apartment, where he makes himself right at home.

Eventually, the owner contacted Chris and asked him to adopt Bloom when the cat had a medical scare. Chris was happy to take the cat in and was sure that Bubba chose him. That is how the cat distribution system works. Bubba was renamed because Chris noticed that he responded better to Bubba than Zero or Bloom. Now, the pair share an apartment and try scaring one another by jumping out of hiding spots.

The two share many laughs and work diligently to scare each other. When Bubba is discovered lying in wait, he gets a little testy about having a phone shoved in his face. After watching many of the videos on Chris’ TikTok page, we will say that Bubba is much better at scaring Chris. The wiley cat hides silently until Chris walks around a corner and POUNCE!

Bubba is a gorgeous creamsicle (orange tabby with white markings). He and Chris will have many happy, scary moments together.

Please share.
