But have you ever heard of a cat that can sing? Well, they can – or at least, they can try, as evidenced by one seriously adorable video circulating the web.

Anthony Klein is a college student who adores his ginger kitty, Sammy. He’s not afraid to express his love for the cat, and can often be found singing to his buddy. Recently, he learned that Sammy likes to join in! Of course, he couldn’t keep such cuteness to himself.

In March 2019, the cat dad uploaded footage to Instagram featuring a very sleepy Sammy. The little guy had just woken up from a nap when Anthony started singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

Then, in an unbelievably precious exchange, Sammy “sings” along with him! Anthony croons the lyrics, “twinkle, twinkle, little,” pausing for Sammy, who finishes the line with the softest meow you’ve ever heard.

Their duet repeats as the two go through the lullaby. Sammy doesn’t miss a beat… well, except for one time he fails to take his turn. But he eventually comes through.

As we’re sure you can imagine, Anthony’s video went viral, melting hearts across the internet. Thousands watched, ooh-ed and aah-ed, then many hit the replay button. One viewing simply wasn’t enough to fully enjoy the sweet bond shared between the man and his feline friend.
