From the moment Liel Ainmar Assayag got pregnant, she had a personal attendant by her side: her beloved cat, Panda.

The black and white fur ball refused to leave her side throughout the pregnancy. Her animal instincts told her to stay close to Liel.
But it got even better. Once Liel began to show, Panda instinctively felt drawn closer, becoming even more protective. It culminated when one night Panda crawled on Liel’s stomach and refused to move. She somehow felt drawn to warm the baby inside of Liel. A mother’s instinct in its most prime form.
And that persistent protection continued every day until it was time for delivery. The two were like glue: a furball glued to a growing tummy.

“Once I got pregnant she started following me around the house, tucking her head on my belly, purring,”said Assayag.

“Now, 3 months later, she jumps on the bed near him, smells him, sits next to him. You can clearly see she loves him from the beginning!”

Once Liel’s sweet baby, Sean, was born, Panda decided she didn’t want to give up motherly duties. Now she follows Sean around!
“She loved my baby and kept him safe for 9 months inside, now she does the same on the outside!”said Liel.
