“Caught My Dad Talking About His Love For My Mom On Video”

A woman sits in a car, holding mascara in one hand. She wide, a joyful look in her eyes, as she looks over at someone that can't be seen in the photo

Natalie Dickerson will be the first to tell you that she has so much to be grateful for in her life. For example, this musician and Belmont University student got three “yeses” when she auditioned for American Idol last year. But Natalie’s gratitude doesn’t just apply to her musical or academic successes. She is also oh-so appreciative of the love she sees between her mom and dad.

There were the tiny moments of love she saw between them as a kid, of course. But there are also the more obvious moments, one of which she shares in the video below. While she’s putting on makeup in the car, Dad goes into detail about his endless love for his wife. Witness this wholesome moment for yourself below!

Woman Shares a Video That Perfectly Showcases Why She is So Grateful for the Love Between Her Mom and Dad

“I would say the amount of love — and I loved her more than I ever loved anyone in my entire life — is 1% of the amount that I love her now,” Natalie’s dad shares.

When making statements like this, folks tend to focus on their spouse’s positive traits. On the contrary, Dad points out that his love for his wife goes much deeper than that. In fact, he admits that should he ever lose her, he would even miss her “weaknesses” and the things that irritate him.

It’s no wonder Natalie says that “being raised under this love had been such a gift.” Even folks online are feeling moved by her parents’ sweet love.

“A man talking about his wife to his kids. In this way. You are RICH,” someone in the comment section of the video points out, with another adding, “You are a child of love. A physical manifestation of their love.”
