Chandler Kinney Takes Rumba To A Whole New Level On “DWTS”

According to Bella Ballroom, “The Rumba is considered to be one of the most beautiful Latin style dances, earning its nickname as ‘The Dance of Love.'” Traditionally, dancers would dance the Rumba to slow Latin music, although as times change, so do the expectations. Now, you can find dancers swaying their hips closely with their partners to all sorts of current music.

There was definitely some chemistry between the pair as they performed their Rumba. They chose to dance the classic dance to a more modern song. Chandler Kinney and pro-Brandon Armstrong performed their Rumba routine on DWTS to What Was I Made For? by Billie Eilish.

There was something angelic about the performance. Chandler Kinney looked ethereal as she twirled across the DWTS stage. As tiny bits of paper and glitter fell from the sky, Brandon picked her up and spun her around while there was utter silence from the crowd.

Fans Are Loving The Performance

Chandler and Brandon broke into smiles as their performance finished and the crowd broke into applause. However in-person fans were not the only ones who were adorning this duo’s performance. Fans online rushed to YouTube’s comment section to share their praise as well.

One user wrote, “OUR MIRRORBALL CHAMPION RIGHT HERE!!!”

Another added, ” As a former dance teacher, I am speechless. Just incredible natural countenance and movement. I can’t wait to see what’s to come.”

A third commented, “Wow my winner !!!!! She is gonna slay and devour this season. Like my god this routine was breathtaking…I see Brandon finally in his prime with his choreography and it’s working. I’m so happy for this partnership !!!!”

New episodes are live on Tuesdays at 8/7c. Be sure to catch Chandler Kinney’s next DWTS performance then.
