Channing Tatum is many things. He is a famous actor with roles in Deadpool & Wolverine, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, and the TV series CSI Miami. His career is so expansive that we can’t list it all here. He also wrote a children’s book that has morphed into a series and will soon become a feature film. He is currently engaged to Zoë Kravitz. Even with such a busy life, this superstar found the time to surprise volunteers at a North Carolina food bank.

The star pulled into the MANNA Food Bank in Asheville with a truckload of food and supplies. Rather than just dropping the truck and leaving, Channing Tatum stayed to help unload the supplies. Working tirelessly alongside food bank team members and volunteers, he helped to unload and sort items for the relief efforts.

The area in western North Carolina was devastated weeks ago when Hurricane Helene stalled over the mountainous region. Record rainfall before the hurricane, combined with the deluge from the storm, created flooding and landslides and left many people homeless and hurting. Rescue efforts have been going strong since day one, but they need help. Channing Tatum provided them with much-needed supplies.

Celebrities often get a bad rap, but efforts like this from a superstar serve to dispel those misconceptions. Channing Tatum isn’t the only celebrity making these hurricane survivors smile.

Other stars have organized hurricane relief benefit concerts to raise money for victims. Luke Bryan worked in Ohio to save equipment from the floods so he could continue his Farm Tour concert series. Taylor Swift donated $5 million to Feeding America, a service helping victims of Hurricanes Helene (NC) and Milton (Florida).

Please share these Herculean efforts.
