A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away … Everyone who has seen Star Wars knows that Darth Vader used to be Anakin Skywalker and is the father of Luke and Leia. Recently, Chewbacca was introduced to his long-lost son at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. We were confused, too, but there is a definite resemblance, and DNA testing might be necessary. Brodie is a golden doodle service dog and a huge fan of Chewbacca.

Brodie the Goldendoodle is such a big fan that he styles his fur to resemble the loveable Wookie. His human dad styles it for him, but you get the idea. Brodie has fans on TikTok, and everyone seems to know him. After fluffing his coat, it was time to search for his biological dad, Chewbacca.
The golden doodle was not going to give up. He was going to find his bio dad! Brodie and his human dad searched everywhere, even checking the Cantina. They finally found him and approached cautiously.
After the long search, Brodie’s wait was over. He approached Chewbacca slowly. It was time for the big question, “Are you my dad?”
Nobody made any denials, and Chewbacca seemed to like being a dad after meeting Brodie.
The meeting went well. The father and son posed for some photos before separating. Chewbacca was heading off to save the universe from the Empire. Brodie will continue his life as a service animal with his human dad.
As with all service animals, if you see Brodie in public, please do not approach him without permission from his handler. Even though he is famous, he still has a job to protect his handler.
