A stellar street pop-up performance had fans cheering with excitement. On Wednesday, August 28, Chris Martin, co-founder of Coldplay, performed a new song titled “We Pray.” He performed the song with fellow collaborators Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini for Grafton.

Chris Martin’s Street Performance
While Coldplay is amid four concerts in Dublin, Chris Martin proved that he doesn’t need a stage to give a stellar performance. He decided to surprise fans on Grafton Street by giving a live performance of his new song We Pray along with all of the song’s collaborators.
PEOPLE shares that the track dropped on August 23 and features a plethora of talented artists from across the world. The track features “Nigerian singer Burna Boy, English rapper Little Simz, Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, and Argentine singer Tini.”
The group of talented performers gathered together in the streets of Ireland’s capital with nothing but a few microphones, a speaker, and their stellar vocals. Little Simz shared a clip of their performance on her Instagram.
She captioned the video: “‘We Pray’ live from the streets of Dublin 🇮🇪 @coldplay @burnaboygram @tinistoessel @elyanna 🤍🔮.”
Coldplay’s “We Pray” Is A Huge Hit With Fans
The video begins with Chris Martin singing pieces of the chorus. He starts with the lyrics:
“And so we pray.
We’ll be singin’ “Baraye.”
As he gets to the final line of the chorus, he sings:
” I know somewhere we’ll feel no pain.
Until we make it to the end of the day.”
From there, Burna Boy sings his solo section of the song. He sings the lyrics:
“On my knees, I pray, as I sleep and wake
‘Cause inside my head is a frightening place
Keep a smiling face, only by His grace
‘Cause love’s more than I can take, hey”
With Little Simz chiming in and both Tini and Elyanna offering stellar vocals in the background, it was a spectacular symphony of sound. Fans online were loving this performance. Positive comments flooded the comments section of the Little Simz video.
