A dog dad on social media has been sharing how his clingy pooch asks him for scratches, and the videos are too adorable! This massive Great Pyrenees has no qualms about getting on his back legs and pawing at his owner for some attention. If Dad doesn’t comply, he’s also not above making a scene! Internet users have fallen in love with this needy fluffball, and so have we.

In one video, the dog owner captured some footage of his clingy pup begging for pets. This theatrical pooch was resting on his hindquarters and swatting at the human with his huge paws. We can’t blame him for behaving this way, though — it had probably been several whole minutes since he’d gotten any affection!
Another clip demonstrated what happens when this pet owner doesn’t give his clingy dog the adoration he so clearly deserves. When the pooch failed to get his dad’s attention, he threw himself on the ground belly-up. Whether he was playing dead for dramatic effect or simply showing off his fluffy, pettable tummy, we’re not sure.
“Anyone else’s dog this needy?” the man asked in his caption.
Obviously, this pet owner has to give in to his clingy dog sometimes. The guy’s not made of stone, after all! He shared a precious video of the Great Pyrenees finally getting his much-needed scratches from Dad. Standing on his hind legs, the animal was almost as tall as his human! He rested his big paws on the man’s shoulders while receiving some love.
This lucky pet parent actually has two almost identical pooches of the same breed. One is named Milo, and the other is Mia. It’s hard to tell for sure, but based on some of the man’s other videos, we’re guessing that the extra-clingy dog is Milo.
Sadly, the dog dad recently shared the heartbreaking announcement that Milo passed away.
“Goodbye Milo,” he wrote. “Please find Barrett and have so much fun running around heaven. I can’t wait to see you again. You made the world a brighter place. You’re the best boy and you saved me. Thank you buddy.”
Although this is devastating news, at least we know that Milo received so much love in his lifetime.
