Costa Rica Has A Unique Way Of Getting Bananas To Your Supermarket Via The “Banana Train.”

The people of Costa Rica use their ingenuity to determine the best way to harvest and get bananas to market. While it may look odd, the video below shows bananas traveling on the “banana train” on their way to market. It appears to show a train of bananas floating across a roadway!

The Costa Rica “banana train” is actually a suspended cable. The cable circulates on a system of pulleys to move the bananas from one point to another during processing. However, if you happened upon this scene in your travels, we understand how it might confuse and amuse you!
