School talent shows can be the perfect way for kids to express themselves. Once in a blue moon, however, it’s also where budding stars are discovered. That was certainly the case for Christina Ogea’s daughter, Violet. Although she is only in the 5th grade, the song she chose to sing at her school’s talent show is a bit of an older classic: Beyoncé’s If I Were a Boy.

Can you imagine how intimidating it must be for a 10-year-old to sing in front of a crowd like that? And yet, despite any nerves Violet may have been dealing with, she still managed to pull off a nearly flawless performance. Luckily, Violet already has her family’s full support. According to another post from Christina, her little girl officially started voice and piano lessons this year. So, yes, you will find her frequently singing around the house, as seen below!
