Who do you think would win in a race: a bison or a cowboy? Well, it probably depends on whether that cowboy has a set of wheels! In a hilarious video on social media, one man decided to challenge one of these animals to a test of speed. What followed was a surprisingly wholesome competition between a galloping bison and a cowboy driving a vehicle!

In this clip, the man pulled up to the bison’s pen and simply asked, “Want to race?” As soon as he drove off, the creature began to run after him. Even though the human had a slight advantage in this scenario, the bison kept pace with him pretty well! This animal was never far behind as the cowboy sped around the outside of the enclosure.
It’s not really clear who won this race, but it seems like both the man and the bison had a pretty good time. In fact, the creature seemed to be prancing with joy at the end of the competition!
Of course, it was very important for these two to establish that, no matter who won, they were both still friends. So, the cowboy went up to the bison afterward and made sure there was goodwill between them. Based on the way the creature leaned into the interaction, we’re pretty sure their relationship is just fine!
Over a million viewers have watched this cowboy’s race against the bison. Commenters thought the animal was way too cute! A few users especially loved seeing the way this critter playfully stomped around when the match was over.
