Dad’s Hilariously Chaotic Video From The Beach Has People Calling Him Homer Simpson

Left image shows a beach scene with waves rolling up on the rocks. Right image shows Homer Simpson being a good dad (for a change).

Homer Simpson is the dad of the cartoon series “The Simpsons.” He is not a model father by any stretch. One of the series’s most familiar Homer Simpson lines is his signature shout of “D’OH!” whenever something goes wrong for him. When TikTok user DaisyDuckCutie’s dad channeled Homer Simpson, the moment was hilarious.

The short clip says it all. While watching waves at the beach, DaisyDuckCutie’s dad wasn’t paying enough attention. As a large wave rolled in, he was standing on some rocks too close to the water. The wave hit the rocks with some force, causing a rather big splash. As he got soaked, he shouted, “D’OH!” This dad could be the voice actor who portrays Homer Simpson (but he’s not).

His shout was the same pitch and tone as the cartoon character. It carried the same level of frustration that Homer displays with every utterance. See for yourself with this Facebook collection of Homer Simpson saying “D’oh.”

Bart Simpson’s dad, Homer Simpson, is the brilliant work of voice actor Dan Castellaneta. The signature “D’oh” is Dan’s creation. The voice actor also provides voices for Krusty the Clown, Groundskeeper Willie, Barney Gumble, Mayor Quimby, Hans Moleman, Barney Gumble, and Abraham “Grampa” Simpson. The actor’s sense of humor remains intact as he released the comedy album, “I Am Not Homer.”

If you’re wondering who this famous dad, Homer Simpson, is, you should add the series to your Hulu list. The show has been airing since 1989 and is one of the longest-running cartoon shows ever.

If you’ve ever had a horrible day, the chance is high that you may have uttered Homer Simpson’s favorite dad word, too. I know I have on occasion! Laugh and share!
