There’s something oh-so healing about receiving a hug from the people we love most — literally! Hugs have proven to help keep us healthier and happier. So, it’s no wonder that a little girl named Gracie simply can’t get enough hugs from her sweet dad, Reef. But here’s the thing about these hugs — they’re extra special, all because of the way Dad goes about these hugs.

For starters, Gracie does not refer to them as hugs. Rather, she will request a cuddle from her Dad. Then there’s Reef’s execution of her adorable request. While standing at a distance, he will wait for her to ask for a cuddle. Once she does, he takes off running toward her so he can scoop her up in his arms. This leaves Gracie in a fit of laughter. See this cuteness for yourself in the video below!

As the video shows, little Gracie truly can’t get enough cuddle time with her Dad. No matter how many times he finds a new silly way to bring her in for a hug, she always wants him to do it again. Or, as she puts it, “we can do it again.” For the most part, Dad is happy to keep this fun game going for a while. Though, it seems that at the end, he found a sweet way to break the cycle.

When This Adorable Toddler Wants a Cuddle From Dad, She Makes Sure Everyone Knows It!

“She’s learning daddy will always be there when she needs him,” someone sweetly points out in the comment section of the video, with another adding, “Daddy’s getting his cardio!”

“The British accent in the tiny voice is giving my American heart joy,” a third person writes. “Thank you for sharing.”
