Sarah Chitwood and her family live in a little blue farmhouse in East Tennessee. She stays busy crafting, making soap, and sewing while running a home business, Our Little Blue Farmhouse, LLC. They raise several farm animals, including chickens, turkeys, goats, peacocks, peahens, and household pets. Most animals are indifferent to their human caretakers, but one of their pet turkeys has a favorite human.

The family chronicles their daily life on Instagram, with videos and photos about their small farm. While Sarah stays busy with her many activities, her husband attends to his chores. However, he can’t go anywhere on the farm without his fan club. That would be the pet turkey that seems to be desperately in love with him.

The pet turkey follows the husband around the property to help with construction projects. The poor man cannot go anywhere without his little fan club trailing behind him.

The husband never gets lonely while doing lawnmower repairs. Now, if only he could train the animal to hand him the correct wrench!

We’re not entirely sure, but we think the husband might also be fond of his little turkey friend. He stops to offer special attention during a morning coffee break, and giving extra scritches undoubtedly counts for something.

The turkey is somewhere close, no matter where the husband goes or what he does. Although the husband might be the turkey’s favorite human, the bird does tolerate Sarah. Here, it poses nicely with her until a second turkey interrupts the quiet time.

Country living is good for the soul. Life at this little blue farmhouse seems very busy but fulfilling. Please share if you enjoyed this silly pet turkey tale.
