A responsible dog dad with a rambunctious mini dachshund at the beach finds an interesting way to entertain his pup. Ahsoka the Mini goes with her dog dad almost everywhere. This tiny pint-sized ball of energy can be a handful. On a recent trip to the beach, dog dad wanted to talk to some of his mates at the beach. To get the necessary peace, he crafted a dachshund tunnel to entertain Ahsoka.

After the tunnel was complete, Ahsoka was the happiest puppy on the planet. Well, at least the happiest pup on the Gold Coast. As Dog Dad stands off to the side, watching his little charge, she races through the tunnel, around, and through again.
Dachshunds are bred to enter tunnels searching for prey, such as badgers, gophers, and rabbits. Their short, compact legs and long bodies are designed for this activity. Although many people don’t think of cute little dachshunds as hunting dogs, they are. It is important to offer them activities that exercise these instincts. So, this beach tunnel is a perfect way to let little Ahsoka burn off some energy.
Ahsoka stayed busy entertaining herself, running through the tunnel again and again.
After talking with his mates, Dog Dad decided to add a new entrance to the tunnel for Ahsoka. Of course, the little pup wanted to help with the construction.
Ahsoka would probably love to run around in her little beach tunnel for many hours. She shows no lapse in energy or enthusiasm. You can watch the video below. The tunnel is small. She is in no danger, and her attentive owner is there to ensure her safety.
