Many parents will tell you there is no joy like becoming a mom or dad until their children have kids of their own. Most tout grandparenting as the best job in the world. Plenty of silver citizens love those prime years and spoiling their grandchildren rotten. Celebrities are not immune to grandparent fever and can hardly contain themselves when it comes to the love of those babies. Danny DeVito’s daughters Grace and Lucy have each given birth to a baby in recent years, which has elevated Danny’s status. He recently sat down with AARP and said this new chapter of his life changed him in the best way possible.

Danny DeVito Says His Life Is Very Happy Right Now
Danny, who shares his daughters and son Carmine with his estranged wife, Rhea Perlman, has never been happier.
The very proud grandfather said, “You got to tamper me down in the joy department,” he joked. “I’m just like, you know, busting. In a minute I’ll take out the phone and show you every picture.”
Danny added that he understands just how lucky he is and hopes all parents can experience this type of joy someday. “Blessings showered down on me, and I wish it for everybody.”
Seeing the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star filled with such happiness ignited joy in his fans.
This person noticed that Danny DeVito is nothing like the characters he plays. “Hilarious that he has made a career from being a grouch- and he is, of course, the opposite.”
So many people agree with Danny, “So true, Danny. The joy of grandchildren is such a wonderful blessing!”
“I feel the same way. No one prepared me for just how wonderful being a grandparent is,” another grandparent gushed.
These are some pretty lucky kids, “Imagine if Danny DeVito was your grandfather, that’s like winning the lottery.”
