It’s a sad day for former Baywatch star David Hasslehoff and family as his ex-wife died from an apparent suicide. According to TMZ, police conducted a welfare check at Pamela Bach Hasslefhoff’s home around 10 p.m. on March 5. The family reported they hadn’t heard from the 62-year-old and hoped the Los Angeles Police could help. When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found Pamela dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators didn’t find a note, but the death left her family and loved ones shaken.

Pamela shared an Instagram post after Christmas with her daughters and granddaughter looking happy and well. “Merry (Belated) Christmas! Even though My Precious Grandaughter – London may not remember it yet, our first Christmas with her was absolutely magical. The day was filled with love, joy, and precious moments with family. We cherish these wonderful memories we made. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season and a very Happy New Year.”

Fans flooded to the comment sections of Pamela’s most recent photos to mourn her death.


“I am sorry for the loss… my heartfelt condolences to the Family and Friends,” someone shared.

“Farewell and Rest in peace 😢🖤,” another wrote.

David and Pamela met on the Knight Rider set when she was a guest star. The couple married in 1989 and stayed together until 2006. Their contentious divorce lasted until 2017. They shared daughters Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, and a granddaughter, London. David Hasselhoff shared a message with TMZ after his shocking death of his ex-wife.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
