Four cats staring out the window.

If you’re looking for an easy way to entertain your cats at home, you apparently can’t go wrong with a window bird feeder! One social media user caught the most hilarious footage of her parents’ kitties observing their avian friends outside. Their eyes were glued to the window as though they were watching a soap opera! This adorable video has received over a million views, and for good reason.

In the clip, all four cats crowded together on a pair of stools to get a good view of the window bird feeder. Their tails swished back and forth expectantly as they peered out through the glass, staring wistfully at the feathered creatures. At one point, these felines turned toward the camera with perfect synchronicity. Perhaps they understood that someone was observing them, too!

There was enough room for everyone on the two stools, but only just. Although these cats behaved surprisingly well while watching the window bird feeder, one kitty seemed a little possessive of their space! However, this setup was still better than the previous one.

Here’s what happens when there’s not enough room for all four cats to look outside.

In another video, the social media user shared that their parents had originally placed only one stool in front of the glass. Even when all the cats squeezed together on the seat, there was just enough room for three of them at a time. That meant one pet was sometimes left out while the others got to see out the window!

“Before we learned the second bar stool was necessary…” read the post’s caption. “Poor Buddy.”

These hysterical videos prove that window bird feeders aren’t just a great way to entertain pets — they’re also pretty fun for humans, too. We could spend hours watching these mesmerized kitties as they stare at the tantalizing sight outside!
