Staff members at one nursing home came up with an unconventional way to keep their residents active: a life-sized version of whack-a-mole! A TikTok video from Clyde Nursing Center in Texas shows two elderly women having a blast playing the game. Residents used pool noodles instead of mallets, which is good considering that the target was a person poking his head out through holes in a sheet! According to the video’s caption, the “exceptionally fun therapeutic activity” was a success.
“I love it,” wrote one commenter. “Keep them moving, hand/eye coordination, plus I’m sure they’re having big fun trying to whack him!”
Another added, “Aww why is this so cute this makes my heart melt.”
