Dick Van Dyke’s Cat Escaped During The Wildfire

Laura shared on Instagram, “Back home again, and it feels so good! Our thoughts were with Dick, Arlene, and their sweet animals this week as the Franklin Fire raged through their neighborhood in Malibu and the Van Dykes had to evacuate just days before Dick’s 99th birthday. So thankful to be home again with all creatures, great and small, and reunited with their cat Bobo (who escaped as they were evacuating! And thankfully waiting for them upon their arrival back). Dick & Arlene thank their neighbors for helping them evacuate and saving their home from further damage.”

The performer then shared Laura’s post on Instagram, and the well wishes came flooding in. Many shared their relief that Dick Van Dyke and his family escaped the wildfires.
