This doctor probably caused his followers some concern when he started describing his relationship of five years on social media. According to his video, the way that this couple divides household chores and responsibilities is totally unfair. However, he explained that he’s absolutely fine with the way things are. At first, though, it’s hard to understand how that could be!
Dr. Cole started out by saying that he takes care of all of the bills, while his other half doesn’t pay for anything. This wouldn’t be too concerning on its own, but the doctor went on to say that he also does all of the cooking and cleaning in their relationship.
“She doesn’t like cleaning so I do all the laundry/dishes,” he wrote in his video. Then, he added, “She loves eating, so I buy groceries and cook.”
Everyone’s love life is their own business, and we shouldn’t cast judgment on another person’s living arrangement. However, it sounds like this doctor has to do everything in his relationship! Can he really be ok with that?
Next, Dr. Cole revealed that he’s the only one who works.
“I work hard so she can stay at home and relax,” he said.
If you’re wondering how this doctor could be so happy in such a one-sided relationship, it’s because the “partner” in question is actually a dog! Dr. Cole shared the sweetest footage of his adorable French bulldog at the end of the video. Suddenly, this all makes more sense!
Some commenters were totally surprised by the twist ending, while others had seen it coming all along.
“You had me writing up divorce papers,” wrote one person.
Another said, “How’d I know it was a dog.”
In case you’re wondering, Dr. Cole also has an actual human wife. They look pretty happy together, too! What a lucky guy to have so much love in his life.
