Busted: Dog Mom Sets Up Camera To Catch Culprit Of Puppy Jailbreak

Image shows a resourceful dog, Lilah, opening the crate to let her dog brother, Moose, make a jailbreak.

Today, we meet Moose, a young doggo, and his older sister, Lilah. Lilah is pretty chill, minds her business, and behaves well. Moose is not well-behaved, so he gets put into puppy jail when Mom and Dad aren’t home. That was fine until Moose began escaping. Mom set up a camera to see if they could figure out how the dog jailbreaks were happening.

After viewing the video, one can reach two possible conclusions. Either Lilah was lonely and did what she did to get Moose’s company, or she was trying to get Moose into trouble. The likely scenario is that Lilah was trying to get Moose into trouble. That might have worked as long as Mom and Dad didn’t know who the culprit was. Once they viewed the video, all bets were off.

Lilah, the clever little doggo, made sure her mom was gone. She noticed the camera but didn’t realize the implications before deftly manipulating the lock on the crate to let Moose out. Since he’s just a young fellow, he did what pups do. He escaped via the now-open door, said hello to the camera, and then hopped on the sofa for a comfy nap.

The most hilarious part of this adventure came when Mom came home, as seen in a follow-up video. The longer video begins with the jailbreak and then shows both dogs napping.

When mom comes home, Lilah is instantly alert. The intelligent little dog gets up and makes a beeline for the empty crate, putting herself in time-out. The episode proved that dogs can think through their actions and know right from wrong.

Please share this if you think Lilah is adorable and hilariously clever.
