Cara O’Neal and her dog Dutch are a perfect pair. Cara enjoys outdoor activities, having fun, training Dutch to do dog tricks, and being herself. Dutch is a mixed bag. He has more pug DNA than anything, but he also has Chow Chow, Pekinese, Boxer, Beagle, and Supermutt. All that really doesn’t matter. He’s a super cool dog. Check out his reaction when his mom makes him do the same trick too many times without any treats.

There was a perfect sit, followed by an ideal shake. There were also perfect second and third shakes. You can see the look on Dutch’s face at this stage. He’s wondering what his Mom has done with the treats by the fourth shake. When Cara asked for the fifth shake, there was a bit (OK, a lot) of side-eye and hesitation. He finally relents to more stupid dog tricks with a whine when his Mom asks again.
Dutch stood up before giving the sixth shake. And six was the final. When Cara asked for the seventh shake, Dutch flipped his head, rolled his eyes, and walked off. That is some serious teenage attitude there. Dutch did finally get his treats for all those dog tricks. It only took his Mom TWO WHOLE DAYS to reward him! The indignity.
We’re sure that Cara and Dutch will be working on finding an equal balance in their relationship. Just because she stiffed him on treats once for TWO WHOLE DAYS doesn’t mean she will do it again. From the look on Dutch’s face as he marched off, she will think twice before holding out on treats again.
