The love a dog has for their human is unwavering… even when they’re mad. A woman with four Australian shepherds of her own knows this well. Years ago, when Rosie was just a pup, Mom did something to make her upset. So, to express her anger, this adorable pup plopped down on the couch, notably facing away from her.

When Mom saw what was happening, she devised a sneaky plan. Rosie can’t resist the song You Are My Sunshine. So, while still giving Rosie some space, Mom began to sing their special rendition. Try as she might to stay mad, Rosie couldn’t help but express some joy over this delightful surprise. See how in the hilariously sweet video below!

Mad Dog Can’t Resist Mom’s Special Song
In this video, it seems as though Rosie is actively fighting against her instinct to happily shake her tail. But, in the end, this song from Mom is a bit too special to not acknowledge it at least a little.
“Trying to kick a tail wag away is crazy,” someone points out in reply to this viral video, with another person adding, “It’s hard when you can’t get both ends to agree!!”
A third person imagines what Rosie is thinking: “Don’t look at my tail! It does not speak for me.”
Like many others, you may be wondering… what did Mom do to put Rosie in such a grumpy mood? Clearly, she must have done something outrageous to have been given this sort of treatment, right? Well…
“I think I told her either she couldn’t eat the baby bunnies or her own poop!” Mom recalls in a reply to someone who asked. “This was when she was just a pupper… probably 2 or 3. Such a great doggo!”
