Dolly Parton shared two new pictures of herself and her sister Rachel Parton George to celebrate their upcoming cookbook, and they could easily be mistaken for twins!
The Parton sisters have been hard at work writing and perfecting their joint project Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals, which officially drops on September 17. The book is filled with delicious Parton favorites, hosting tips, holiday meals, multi-course party spreads, and more.
On June 30, Dolly posted two photos on her Instagram page to promote the highly anticipated cookbook. The first shows the I Will Always Love You singer and her sister sitting in a sunroom, laughing as they dine on their creations. In the second, the two stand outside a green vintage pickup truck and smile at each other.Â
Dolly Parton Fans Had To “Do A Double Take” When They Saw The Photos
In both snaps, Dolly and Rachel are wearing their teased, platinum-blonde hair in curls, and they look nearly identical.
“She’s just as beautiful as you are!” a Dolly Parton fan wrote in the captions.
“There’s two of these angels?!?” someone asked.
“Yall look like twins!” someone added.
“Can’t wait!” someone admitted. “I know y’all had the best time doing this 🩵.”
“I had to do a double take!!” a fan admitted. “Seeing double has never been so BEAUTIFUL!!
In the caption, Dolly Parton shared that spending “quality time” with her sister has been the best part of the experience so far. She also noted that her book is available for pre-sale now.
