In the footage, the Labrador was clearly very interested in what the FedEx driver was up to. This pooch followed the man around while he climbed the steps and dropped off the resident’s package. However, the delivery man issued a very important warning.
“Don’t tear up the box while I’m gone, ok?” he said to the dog.
Seeing the delivery driver talk to this Lab is too cute!
In response, the Labrador retriever wagged their tail. They probably had no idea what the man was saying, but it was still nice to get some attention! This pup looked disappointed when the FedEx driver had to leave. Of course, the driver couldn’t do that without saying goodbye.
“See you later,” he said, waving to his four-legged friend. “Be good.”
Commenters loved seeing this hilarious encounter between the Labrador retriever and the FedEx driver. However, many were surprised that the delivery man didn’t stop to pet the dog.
“No scratches,” remarked one user. “I’d be sitting on the floor giving all the loveys lol.”
“Your dog is like ummm excuse you sir you seem to be leaving without a belly rub or pat,” added another.
One person was very eager to see the photo that the FedEx driver took of the package, since the Labrador was standing in front of it.
“So you’re just not gonna show us the delivery confirmation photo???” they said.
Nicole did end up sharing the photo, but sadly noted that “It didn’t live up to the hype.” This image mostly showed the package resting on a chair, while only a sliver of the dog’s head and back were visible. The video captured by her doorbell camera was much better!
