It seems the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty can’t quite catch a break lately. The family announced in December that patriarch Phil Robertson’s health is failing quickly due to several issues. His granddaughter, Sadie Robertson, posted a sweet message to her grandfather, thanking him for his tremendous influence on her life. But it appears Phil isn’t the only Robertson experiencing a tough time. Silas Robertson, known on the show as Uncle Si, didn’t appear on the January 23 episode of Duck Call Room, concerning fans. Co-star Justin Martin explained that what happened to Uncle Si was par for the course for the Duck Dynasty alum. Justin explained that Uncle Si was “in a big dang hurry to get out of the boat” and had fallen during a recent fishing trip. At first, everything seemed OK., but that wasn’t the case.

“He fell on his oxygen machine. You know how he wears it like a bandolier? But he bounced right back up. I think he didn’t want anybody to see that he fell, except the problem is you’re covered in mud now,” Justin explained.
Justin said Uncle Si got “real quiet,” and they knew something was wrong. At first, the men thought Uncle Si had broken his ribs because he complained of a significant amount of pain. Thankfully, he just had some bruised ribs and is on the mend.
