Lainey recently joked she might have to propose to her longtime boyfriend, Devlin Duck Hodges, but it looks like he beat her to it. Lainey shared a few voices from the couple’s engagement on Instagram on February 12 with the caption, “4x4xU forever.” It looks like Duck had a romantic plan for Lainey all along. The former football player turned real estate man had photos, candles, and an absolutely stunning ring waiting for Lainey Wilson. This all comes a little more than a month after the singer tells pal Bunnie XO that she might be asking Duck to marry her.

Lainey Wilson Jokes About Her Engagement Before It Happened
Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, caught up with Lainey before the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville Big Bash. She told Bunnie she wanted to spend more time with her and Jelly and Bunnie replied, “I’m manifesting for you and Duck to get married. Lainey joked back, “No pressure, brother! No pressure. I might have to propose to him. We waitin’.”
“No, Duck’s gonna do it. I can feel it.” Bunnie replied.
It seems Bunnie was right. Lainey and Duck look as happy as ever, and fans couldn’t be happier for Lainey.
