If you’re a parent of young children, chances are you’ve watched Disney movies more times than you can count since the beginning of the novel coronavirus.

Dwayne Johnson can relate, although in his case, it’s all about “Moana.” Tiana, his 2-year-old daughter, loves the fun movie. As such, she regularly demands that Johnson sing the hit song “You’re Welcome.” The funny thing is, she doesn’t realize her dad is the character Maui!

Like other parents stuck at home, Johnson is starting to feel a little burned out. That said, he can’t say no to his adorable little girl, even if it means becoming Maui over and over again.
The actor recently shared a video of himself singing “You’re Welcome” once more. While he may be tired of it, we’ll never get sick of watching him make Tiana smile!
“And for the 937th time today she wants daddy to sing along with Maui,” he wrote. “I have no idea what day it is anymore, but I am sure it’s one that ends with Y. To all the mama and papa bears out there going thru it – we understand.”

This isn’t the only time their family has used the hit song during quarantine. They also discovered Maui’s rap is the perfect length for washing their hands!

As it turns out, Maui has another tie to this wonderful family. The character was inspired in part by Johnson’s late grandfather Peter Maivia, a professional wrestler and high chief of Samoa. See the resemblance?

Tiana clearly has her dad wrapped around her finger, though something tells us Johnson doesn’t mind one bit! Here’s hoping we get to see her precious reaction to finding out her dad is Maui. Until then, we’ll happily settle for watching this sweet video one more time (or 20).
