Ecstatic IVF Doctor & Staff Call On Their Day Off To Tell Patient She’s Pregnant.

Everyone’s pregnancy journey looks different. For those who go the IVF route, their journey to getting pregnant can be especially tough. There are lots of steps to take, may of which are expensive, and there’s no guarantee that they’ll work. It’s no wonder, then, that when IVF turns out to be successful, this doctor is eager to call his newly pregnant patient as soon as possible!

Dr. Lawrence Werlin, who also goes by Larry, is a Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist at HRC Fertility in Newport Beach, California. Based on all of the fun videos he shares online, it’s clear that he’s well beloved by his collogues and patients alike. One video in particular shows just how dedicated he is to his work.

The video takes place on a Monday, but it’s not just any Monday — it’s Christmas! The clinic itself isn’t open, but that doesn’t stop Larry from coming in to see that one of his patients is officially pregnant!

He could wait until a different day to give her the good news. Instead, he gives her a call that very day. She doesn’t answer at first, so he tries again. This time she answers! He teases her for a moment about not answering before he starts a countdown with his staff. On the count of three they all shout, “You’re pregnant!”

Almost instantly the woman starts to cry, prompting everyone else in the room to get emotional as well. What incredibly joyful, life-changing news to get on Christmas!

“The clinic may be closed today, but we couldn’t let a Monday go by without a pregnancy call!” the caption on the video reads. “If you haven’t had a happy holiday and a happy Monday, we hope you have now.”
