However, that’s not the case for Bronx artist Devon Rodriguez. Not only does he create stunningly lifelike portraits of beloved actors, musicians, and more, but he actually hands them over in person! A compilation video of celebrities viewing his artwork for the first time is going viral on Reddit.

One of the first celebrities in this video to react to his own portrait was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He was truly impressed when he saw Devon’s photorealistic sketch.
“You drew this?” he asked, incredulously.
Then, the actor thanked the artist with a handshake and a hug.
Post Malone had the sweetest response to receiving a drawing of himself. This celebrity’s surprised reaction to the portrait was so genuine! He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Devon’s work.
“Dude, this is incredible,” the musician said. “Thank you so much!”
Another hilarious celebrity reaction to this artist’s portraits came from Ed Sheeran. When Devon gave him the drawing, the visual artist couldn’t resist throwing in a joke.
“You look kind of like Ed Sheeran,” he quipped.
“I get that a lot,” responded the singer, not missing a beat.
This artist does more than just celebrity portraits.
Devon isn’t just known for creating portraits of celebrities and getting their reactions. He also loves to draw and paint the people he sees on the street in his every day life. One of his popular video formats involves him whipping up a quick study of a fellow passenger on public transportation. Sometimes, he actually paints these portraits on soda cans!
