The music video starts with old photos and videos of Hailie Jade as a child, and Eminem makes it clear that the song is dedicated to his daughter. Furthermore, the song is for her to listen to when he is no longer with her. As the video continues, it shares more and more touching moments of the daddy-daughter duo. From times when she was a child and his sidekick to him walking her down the aisle on her wedding day.
Towards the end of the video, once viewers watch Eminem’s daughter grow up, it shows a scene with him and her sitting on a back deck. She brings him a jersey that says number one grandpa as well as a photograph from her ultrasound. The look of shock on the rapper’s face instantly changes to sheer joy.
