Peggy Coppom is a huge University of Colorado Boulder football fan. ESPN reported that the Buffaloes Head Coach, Deion Sanders, knows all about Peggy and made her a promise he’d get the team to a bowl game. Deion came through with the team’s sixth win at the end of October. But that’s not all Deion’s done for Peggy. The sweet lady turned 100 years old on November 16, and in true Peggy fashion, she attended a Buffaloes game. But what happened at that game was even sweeter than a win.

The Entire Stadium Came Out For Peggy Coppom
Peggy stood with her pom-pom in hand as everyone at Folsom Field stopped to sing Happy Birthday. Not only did the fans sing, but the team dominated the Utah Utes and took home a 49 to 24 victory. It was a great day to be a Buffaloes fan, and it seems Peggy might be the biggest fan the team has. If not the biggest, she’s most definitely the longest-standing fan.
ESPN reported that Peggy Coppom has loyally attended games since the 1940s and built a special bond with Deion. It was beautiful to see Peggy so touched by the fan’s kindness.
Sportscenter shared a viral video of Peggy Coppum’s birthday and followers fell in love.
