The Mills family of North Carolina just received a life-altering present and they’re couldn’t be more thankful for their community. This incredible family of four were given a brand new van that’s going to make life a whole lot easier.

The Mills’ two young sons, Jack and Luke, have a rare genetic mutation that’s left them unable to take care of themselves. The boys need wheelchairs to move around, so for years their parents have tried to win a national contest for a wheelchair accessible van. Unable to afford the car on their own, they began feeling discouraged and hopeless concerning the future mobility of their sons.
They never won the contest, but they won the hearts of their community, which raised $45,000 for their cause. The Mills were finally able to get a new van and it will be adapted for the boys to use very soon.
