Moose Stuck in a Backyard Pool Seems Grateful for a Swift Rescue

Thankfully, that was all the trapped moose needed to make his escape. While these creatures tend to be calm, they can be aggressive when threatened. So, it was also nice, and a bit surprising, that the moose didn’t seem even a little mad. It was almost as if he knew that the humans surrounding him were there to help!

According to a nearby news station, New Hampshire’s moose population is somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000. So one being spotted in the backyard of such a small town (23,000 residents) is pretty rare. Thankfully, the residents of the home responded well by calling for help and staying far away from the potentially dangerous, albeit adorable, creature. Speaking of which, folks have become quite fond of this curious creature.

“Was he rescued or was he interrupted?” someone jokingly asks in the comment section, with another pointing out, “He stood there thanking you.”
