“Flight Attendant Was Sick Of The Babies And Sang This To Us”

Flight attendants are known for their happy demeanor and wealth of patience. During any flight, they may deal with rude, loud, obnoxious passengers, and there is always at least one crying baby. There are more pleasant passengers than not, which probably keeps these unsung heroes returning for the next flight. A funny flight attendant recently accepted the duty of putting babies to sleep with a silly song.

The funny flight attendant made up some silly lullaby words. “Don’t make any noise on the flight. Go to sleep. Close your eyes. Go-oh-oh to sleep. Nighty night. Nighty night. Just go-oh-oh… to… sleeeeeep.” Giggles can be heard from other passengers as the flight attendant finishes the funny little song. We don’t know if the little song worked to put the babies to sleep, but it was an adorable moment.

On another flight, when a child wouldn’t stop crying, the flight attendant gave the baby a job. She scooped up the little girl and walked around the cabin, collecting trash from the passengers. The small child seemed mesmerized and stayed quiet in the flight attendant’s arms.

Another flight attendant gave a new mom a break during a nine-hour flight to Paris. The mom was visiting her deployed husband. The welcome break was refreshing, even though this baby didn’t seem to be crying.

These small things may not seem like much, considering all the duties of a flight attendant. For a parent, these heroes make air travel with a small child bearable. Some flights have “grandmas” that scoop these babies up to play with and sing to. Other passengers scream at the flight attendants like angry warthogs with foul language (it’s bleeped).
