Former “The Voice” Contestant Spotted Busking On The Streets Of Nashville

Donny Van Slee smiles as he holds up a sign that reads: As seen on The Voice #TeamReba, S25

The latest season of The Voice gave us some of the most talented singers to date. Much to the delight of fans, Asher HaVon, a member of Reba McEntire’s team, was crowned the champion! Still, fans can’t forget the other contestants they fell in love with — that includes Donny Van Slee, another Team Reba member. Like many contestants before him, his career in music isn’t ending with his run on The Voice.

In fact, it seems Donny has a renewed sense of purpose after such an amazing time on the hit show. During Memorial Day Weekend, fans spotted the talented singer out and about in Nashville busking. Based on a photo that Donny shared on social media, it appears he was by The Parthenon in Centennial Park. This popular spot in the city must have made for the perfect place to belt out some tunes!

Donny created a sign to let folks know he was a member of Team Reba — and couldn’t be more proud! Because despite not being crowned the winner, he couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities he was given and the memories that were made during that time.

In fact, Donny shares that so much more happens during the competition than fans get the chance to see on TV. This includes all of the time spent bonding with fellow contestants, many of which have become friends, it seems.

“I truly cant even begin to explain how amazing of an experience it was to be apart of this show,” Donny writes. “The best part of it all was how close we all became jamming by the pool, in the hallways, and in our rooms. I love you guys from the bottom of my heart and so excited to watch everyone’s careers unfold.”
