Mother’s Day only comes once a year. When kids are little, their dads explain the importance of this holiday for their moms. Sometimes, the lessons stick, and sometimes, they don’t. This young boy seems to understand the message as he “carefully” maneuvers a fragile gift through the doorway. He gains safe entry to Mom’s sacred space and promptly forgets everything.

Like the American Tourister gorilla, the young boy unceremoniously tosses the fragile gift after being so careful with it thus far. Mom is snort-laughing. Dad is flummoxed. He covers his eyes and shakes his head in dismay. The young boy is proud of his efforts and smiles like a banshee.
Mom continues snort-laughing. After taking three seconds to compose himself, Dad tries to correct the drop-check, but the message is met with that huge grin from the boy. Mom… yeah, still snort-laughing.
Fortunately, the gift did not suffer at the hands of their gorilla-identifying son. He could be practicing for a future with a delivery service. Amazon, United Parcel Service, and FedEx are always hiring. To give the young man credit, he did try. He navigated the house all the way to the bedroom door. He “carefully” worked his way through the tight doorway. Once he got it there safely, he may have considered his part done.
It is easy to see that the husband spent some time discussing the importance of the task with the young son. It is also apparent that there were quite a few door and wall bumps along the way, but the boy was as diligent as possible. The smile of success after the toss and Mom’s snort-laughing were the perfect finishing touches.
