Shaquille O’Neal was one of the best players ever in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Since his retirement, he has frequently been in the news for his philanthropic efforts. There was a no-camera rule while Shaq was interacting with fans at an event. One (not so) sly fan decided to try to catch some video while no one was looking. He turned on his video but was holding his camera down (not so) inconspicuously. The resulting footage is hilarious.
Can you say “BUSTED”? But here’s the even funnier part. Shaq saw the phone and knew the camera was rolling. He dropped that maniacal, angry, and all-knowing scowl, then immediately looked up and returned to smiling for the photographers. Shaq didn’t rat the dude out. He just rolled with it and gave us one of the most hilarious outtakes ever.
Unless you happen to catch Shaq on a youth court hooping it with kids, you won’t get a more pure version of this superstar. He is almost always smiling and is generous to a fault. He puts himself out there yearly as Shaq-a-Claus, delivering tens of thousands of toys, clothing, and meals to underprivileged kids across the United States since 1997.
