Garth Brooks Trisha Yearwood

March 24 was a huge day for Trisha Yearwood, and it hit her husband, Garth Brooks, right in his feels. Trisha received her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, and it was a huge moment for the couple. According to People, both Reba McEntire and Carly Pearce spoke at the ceremony, and Garth dabbed at his eyes as they spoke beautiful words about his wife. Trisha then took center stage and shared memories and love with Garth. She said she’s met “a lot of Garths in my life,” but “the first Garth that I met is here.”

They’ve known each other since the 1980s but didn’t become a couple until much later.

Trisha Yearwood said to Garth Brooks during her time at the podium, “That one has really been a cheerleader, and as many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something.”

She smiled and added, “Of all the people who want this for me, nobody wants it more than you. I appreciate you for being my support.”

Garth shared a sweet dedication to his wife on Instagram for her last birthday. He wrote, “Happy Birthday, Trisha!!! You look better than ever, you ARE better than ever and I love you MORE than ever…love, me.”

Unfortunately for Garth Brooks, former makeup artists accused him of inappropriate behavior during his marriage to Trisha Yearwood, claims he completely denied. “For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars,” Brooks said in a statement to People “It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face.”

He added at the time, “I want to play music tonight. I want to continue our good deeds going forward. It breaks my heart these wonderful things are in question now. I trust the system, I do not fear the truth, and I am not the man they have painted me to be.”
