When a girl suffered a horseback riding injury after a particularly nasty fall, a very unexpected troupe of visitors stopped by to see if she was ok. In a viral video on Reddit, a young rider was thrown to the ground when her horse lost their footing. Although her injury wasn’t too severe, she did end up with a dislocated shoulder. That meant she’d have to go to the hospital, which unfortunately also meant she would have to wait for transportation to arrive.

As the young woman sat on the ground after her horseback riding injury, something almost unbelievable happened. A group of majestic wild ponies wandered into the area, making a beeline for the hurt girl! These beautiful animals began to gently investigate the humans, especially the fallen rider. They were unusually affectionate as they sniffed around and nuzzled her.

Mom captured the most stunning footage of these gorgeous ponies. On Reddit, the video was captioned, “These are Unicorns.” Although the horses didn’t have actual horns, there was definitely something otherworldly about them!

“The most magical thing happened,” read the text in the video. “And it’s now one of our favourite memories ever!”

Commenters thought this footage was too sweet! One person was especially impressed by how the young girl handled her horseback riding injury.

“That young lady is so adorable,” they wrote. “Gets bucked off a horse and is smiling at the horses. Bet she has a great attitude and a great life. And those horses? Goodness gracious. What beauties.”

Another added that the kindness and compassion of these ponies was truly amazing.

“We don’t give animals enough credit,” the user said. “They understand and ‘talk to you’ if you take the time to understand. Most animals have a true soft spot when they choose to open up to us. Beautiful world. I wish all humans would understand.”

We’re sure this girl’s horseback riding injury wasn’t fun, but at least she got to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience with these spectacular wild ponies!
