LET’S GET REAAADDDYYYYYY TO ROOOOOOMMMMMBBBBAAAAAAAA!!!!

The match opens with the Roomba making the first move against the golden retriever. The dog meets the attack with a slow-motion defensive maneuver that has us shaking our heads. He isn’t even breaking a sweat as he deftly fends off the attack. The dog offers slow blinks and a side-eye glance as the Roomba persists.

The Roomba takes ineffective swipes with its brushes while the golden retriever ponders his life choices. The Roomba backs off to regroup as it plans its next offensive move. Meanwhile, the dog looks to the referee for a ruling. It’s official: the ruling in the ring is a Technical Knock Out. The Roomba didn’t stand a chance.

Once the official proclamation was made, the golden retriever got up and walked away while the Roomba bounced aimlessly around the ring, searching for another opponent.

We have a love-hate relationship with all the automated home devices available. Busy people often opt for the Roomba with its self-controlled floor-sweeping ability. Your floors will remain clean unless you have a pet that interrupts the operation.

It’s probably a toss-up whether we keep Roombas for their cleaning or the entertainment value. Wells’ mom used her Roomba as a child entertainment device for years. Either that, or he was in training for the junior rodeo.

No matter why you keep a Roomba, it’s a sure bet that if you post videos, we will grab them and have fun with them.
