This dog may be a good boy, but is that enough to get him on the “nice” list? Well, since this golden retriever actually got a chance to meet Santa Claus in person this year, we’re sure he’s been able to clear up any misunderstandings about his behavior. In fact, based on the impression Teddy made during his photoshoot with St. Nick, we’d say this pooch will be getting everything he asked for! After all, who could say no to that adorable face?

Teddy’s owner, Jonathan, shared the sweetest footage of the golden retriever posing for pictures with Santa. Although it doesn’t look like the large-ish dog actually sat on Kris Kringle’s lap (we’re sure the actor was grateful for that), the pair did get some absolutely precious photos together. At the end of his video, Jonathan included some of the highlights from the shoot!
Teddy made sure to show the man in red his good side during the session. This golden retriever couldn’t have looked any sweeter as he sat on his hind legs, gently placing his front paws on Santa’s knee. In a couple of the photos, the dog pretended to ride a toy bicycle and play a miniature piano, as well.
You can’t blame a dog for trying…
Unfortunately, it does look like Teddy did something a little naughty. More than once, he tried to steal jolly St. Nick’s hat right off his head with his teeth!
However, we’re certain that Santa will forgive the golden retriever for this minor infraction. After all, it was all part of the photoshoot! This only proves that Teddy is a comedy master, among his many other positive attributes. In fact, he’s known on social media for his hysterical antics! Remember when he helped his owner pull a wholesome prank at Cracker Barrel?
Jokes aside, this golden retriever’s pictures with Santa are way too cute. If you have a pet at home, this is your reminder to squeeze in a holiday photoshoot before the season is over!
