Grandad-To-Be Flies Across The Country To Paint Stunning Mural For Baby’s Nursery

It’s amazing what we are willing to do for the ones we love. Makenzie Walters is still pregnant with her child, but that little baby already has Grandpa wrapped around their little finger! Despite living across the country, Makenzie’s dad wanted to take the time to create something special for his first grandbaby. The gift? A beautiful mural, created by Grandpa himself.

To make that happen, he spent a grand total of 90 hours on the mural…. and he’s not even done! He’ll be back at Makenzie’s house during a separate visit to finish it. Even though it’s not complete, much of the work has been done, and it couldn’t look more beautiful! Proud of her dad, Makenzie shared a video showcasing all the love and attention Grandpa has given to this project. See for yourself in the viral video below!

It’s absolutely heartwarming to see the care given with each and every stroke of Grandpa’s paintbrush. We aren’t given any info on his profession, but based on this mural, it could not be more clear that he is an artist at heart. If this is how the mural looks when it’s not even done, we can’t imagine what it will look like with the finishing details!

“Tell me you have the best dad without telling me you have the best dad,” Makenzie writes in the caption of her video.

Makenzie isn’t the only one in love with her dad’s mural. Her video has received over 13,000 comments, most of which can’t get over this sweet act of love.

“If I ever moved, I’d cut the drywall out and bring it with us,” one person in the comments admits, with another adding, “See I’m too sentimental, I’d have to live there forever lol.”
