In October of 2014, a 13-year-old Anna van Keulen from the Netherlands passed away due to injuries she sustained during a bike accident on her way to school.

After this terrible tragedy, her sweet grieving father, Niek van Keulen, knew he needed to find a way to show his love for Anna. So he decided to do everything he could to fulfill at least one of his deceased daughter’s wishes: to be famous.
His plans to grant Anna’s wish turned out to be more than he ever imagined. A tweet of his featured a video of Anna playing the theme song from Downton Abbey on the piano immediately went viral. Less than two days later, the heartfelt performance was already viewed over 1.5 million times! Nick kept posting about Anna and soon the video had over 3 million views.

The way that Niek worked so intentionally to give his beautiful daughter one last gift is truly touching. The video below (the one he tweeted out) is an incredible example of a father’s never-ending love.
