Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton said “I do” in 2021. Both had been married before, but it wasn’t until they found each other that they finally felt complete.

After being a princess of ska punk in the 1990s, Gwen is now trying her hand at country-rock music with a new album, Bouquet, that includes the single Somebody’ Else’s. The song is a bit of a diss track, with lyrics pointing at how relieved she is that her ex is no longer her problem and she’s got true love with Blake.
“I don’t know what a heart like mine was doin’ in a love like that,” the opening line says. “I don’t know what a woman like me was doing with a man like you / But now I got a love so true.”
Gwen Stefani Didn’t Hold Anything Back With “Somebody Else’s”
She’s happy with Blake and feels sorry for the person now involved with her ex.
“Now that I’ve found the real thing / You don’t compare / And I don’t care that you’re somebody else’s / And it doesn’t even break my heart / You’re somebody else’s / And I pray for them whoever they are.”
Gwen Stefani doesn’t say who Somebody Else’s is about, but it seems that her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three sons, might be her muse.
According to People, he told Fabulous Magazine in 2017 that although their relationship is over, the pair stays cordial for their sons.
“The one thing — the only good thing, because everything else is not good — is we care about the children and it’s about them,” Gavin said. “So we do everything to make this life change as seamless as possible.”
Gwen shared news about her new album on X, “My fifth studio album, ‘Bouquet’, will be in full bloom on November 15th.”
