Gwen Stefani Shares Romantic Video Highlighting Her Marriage With Blake Shelton For His 48th Birthday

Gwen Stefani Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani is celebrating her “everything,” Blake Shelton, on his 48th birthday.

The pop singer took to Instagram on June 18 to send her husband love on his special day. In a video montage, she shared some of her favorite moments that she and Blake have shared throughout their nine-year relationship.

Paired with the couple’s duet, Purples Irises, Gwen included clips of her and Blake walking red carpets, singing together, enjoying their ranch, kissing each other, and laughing together.

“Happy bday to the greatest, @blakeshelton 🤍,” she captioned. “U are my everything !!”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met while they were co-coaches on NBC’s The Voice. They did not immediately hit it off because Gwen was married to Gavin Rossdale, and Blake was married to Miranda Lambert.

When the singers returned for their second season together in 2015, they both ended their marriages and began dating. The two tied the knot during an intimate ceremony on July 3, 2021. That day, he became the stepfather of Gwen’s sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

Blake Shelton happily took his new role with pride, and he admitted that becoming a stepdad “changed” him.

“I get to teach them the country, you know, and I love that,” he told ET. Whether it’s music, whether it’s literally getting out, getting their hands in the dirt, or being out on the ranch, seeing the animals, whatever, you know? I absolutely love being the person that gets to introduce them to that stuff.”

However, Blake shared that becoming a father figure wasn’t just about having fun on the farm.

“I learned quickly, not because anything happened, but just, you know, reading the room, you’ve really got [to think], ‘I have to take a step back,’” he continued. “When people say it’s not about you anymore when you have a kid… I think, if you’re doing it right, it’s not about you anymore. That’s true.”
